The manager is an enrolled nurse and has been here for 20 years – so has encountered pretty much every rest home care situation there is. There are 52 rest home beds in total; upstairs rooms have their own toilet and hand basin; downstairs rooms a toilet, hand basin and shower. Greenvalley’s location is quiet, and Glenfield Mall (4 minutes by car) and Marlborough Park are close by.
Public transport is a two-minute walk away and there is a weekly residents’ outing. Greenvalley Lodge has a contract with the local District Health Board to provide rest home level care.
